For many reading time is a problem. Understanding the application and use of legal trusts, especially when studying for exams, can be even more of a problem. Here is the Basic section of the book Trusts a Practical Guide is on CD. Each chapter is accessible individually; as is the Chapter summary.
Trusts need not be a dark subject. Indeed in financial planning and in life planning trusts wills and similar documents create a path for assets to follow. Understanding who the individual characters are in the makeup of a trust’s format is essential. Who are the trustees, the beneficiaries, or Guardians and is there a relationship with executors or appointees? Do they even work together?
Theory has to be balanced by practical application. Known personalities form the backdrop to simple explanations of what might otherwise be viewed as difficult or complex issues regarding the subject of trusts. Your exam results might just improve with a little light but practical intervention.
